Start using Aurora Capital with confidence and transparency.
Aurora Capital carries out its activity in line with the law in force in Colombia. The company applies practices aimed at operational transparency, data protection, information security and compliance with the rules that apply to a technology business.
This page gathers the rules and the authorities involved so that you can verify them yourself.
Aurora Capital operates within the Colombian framework that covers technology services related to digital assets, the prevention of money laundering, consumer protection and the processing of personal data. This is how each area maps to its authority.
| Jurisdiction | Regulator | Registration / regulatory basis |
|---|---|---|
| Colombia, national level | UIAF and the Financial Superintendence of Colombia (SFC) | Complies with the Colombian guidelines on preventing money laundering and terrorist financing (SARLAFT approach) that apply to its technology activity. Registration details are confirmed to any client who asks for them. |
| Personal data protection | Superintendence of Industry and Commerce (SIC) | Complies with Law 1581 of 2012, Decree 1377 of 2013 and the other habeas data rules governing the processing of user data in Colombia. |
| Consumer protection | Superintendence of Industry and Commerce (SIC) | Complies with the Consumer Statute (Law 1480 of 2011) on user information, e-commerce, advertising and the handling of complaints. |
| Tax obligations | National Tax and Customs Directorate (DIAN) | Complies with the invoicing, withholding and reporting obligations that apply to it as a technology service provider in Colombia. |
Aurora Capital works to maintain the registrations, permits and compliance procedures that correspond to the services it provides.
Regulation does not remove investment risk or guarantee profit. Digital assets are exposed to volatility and other market risks. In Colombia, crypto-asset platforms also have no deposit insurance comparable to that of bank accounts, and funds held at an external exchange are not covered by Fogafín.
