Fraud warning and cloned companies

At Aurora Capital we take any information or suspicion about fraudulent activity very seriously.

From time to time we find companies that use our name, or names very close to it, without our permission. This can cause confusion and spread false information about the company and its services.

Why we publish this notice

We publish it for three reasons. First, so anyone can check they are on the right site before handing over data or money. Second, so people who were contacted by false representatives know where to turn. And third, to put on record that we do not authorise any third party to collect money in our name or to receive payments into accounts other than those shown inside your dashboard.

Cloned companies

If you suspect you are dealing with a clone company using our brand, name or logo, we recommend you do not give out your personal information and notify us at once by email at [email protected], with screenshots, links and the impostor's contact details.

We work continuously to identify every clone company, but we recognise that some may go unnoticed for a time. That is why users should always check the legitimacy of the companies they deal with online before sharing personal data or starting any business relationship.

Warning signs

  • They ask you to pay a "fee" or "tax" to release your funds.
  • They contact you by messaging from a personal number rather than from official channels.
  • The domain differs from auroracapital-ai.co or has swapped letters.
  • They ask for passwords, verification codes or withdrawal permissions on your API.
  • They promise fixed or risk-free returns. No legitimate platform can do that.

None of these points alone proves fraud, but a combination of two or more should make you stop. When in doubt, close the conversation, open our site by typing the address in your browser and check that the number or email that contacted you appears on the contact page.

Responsibility

We know our name and personal data have been used for fraudulent purposes, matters over which we have no influence or control. We deeply regret the financial losses of anyone who has suffered them, but Aurora Capital is not responsible for fraudulent transactions carried out in our name by third parties. If you were a victim, we recommend reporting to the Attorney General's Office (Fiscalía General de la Nación) and notifying your bank.
